If your style game over the past few months has been a bit off, that's okay, Hamptons-based fashion stylist Lisa Frohlich is here to inspire. Frohlich has been hosting monthly Virtual Shopping Events with a myriad of chic brands and the August session is nearly here.

"The best part of my Virtual Shopping Events is that consumers have direct access to these designers and brand owners," Frohlich noted. "There is no fee to attend these Virtual Shopping Events. All questions from the viewers are answered in real time in the chat section of the Zoom."

Frohlich will hold her next Zoom Shopping Event with brand Toccin on Monday, August 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Husband and wife duo Michael and Alex Toccin will be joining Frohlich to showcase their Pre-Fall Collection.

We recently caught up with the stylish Hamptonite about the shift to digital, summer and fall trends, her go-to Hamptons shops and more.

How often will you be hosting these Virtual Shopping Events and what brands can we expect to see?

LF: I'll be hosting one Virtual Shopping Event per month, each with a different brand. For fall I've been speaking to a chic sustainable brand based in London called Marfa Stance. They focus on outerwear and each garment is ethically produced in limited quantities. I'll also be hosting a holiday show with Modatrova, which is a virtual showroom that represents several fashion brands. I have one shoe and handbag line that I'm excited about, but I can't release that info just yet!

How long does each one typically last and how are they formatted?

LF: Each Virtual Shopping Event lasts about an hour depending on how many brands are participating.  If a show is with one brand than the show can last 30 minutes. If there are multiple brands, approximately an hour. All viewers are invited to shop from the brand's website.

In addition to the Virtual Shopping Events, tell us about some of the other virtual services you're offering at the moment.

LF: I recognized that my fashion styling business needed to be flexible and adaptable when stores closed in March and buying shifted to online. I had always offered virtual styling sessions, but in April and May, I became really busy on the screen. Virtual closet edits were popular for me when the seasons changed. My clients rely on me to share insider fashion information, and as an ambassador to several emerging brands, this can now happen in the comfort of their own homes.

What are some of your favorite trends of the moment, and looking towards fall, what trends can we expect to see?

LF: I am a believer in functional fashion, and as the current pandemic continues, I feel trends will also move in this direction. Gloves were seen on the runways of Saint Laurent, Gucci and Miu Miu in different fabrics and colors. No one can deny that gloves will be a safe and chic fall trend. Thanks to outdoor social distancing in the fall, outerwear will also be a focus, and oversized coats have never seemed so practical. Edgy leather jackets will continue, as well as classic prints such as houndstooth and tweed.

What are your go-to Hamptons shops to source from?

LF: My favorite Hamptons stores are Matriark, Shan, Tenet, Kirna Zabéte, Blue One, Henry Lehr and Ryland Life.

A portion of the Toccin Pre-Fall Collection presentation on Monday, August 17 will support Hamptons United. Why was that a platform you wanted to champion?

LF: On one website, Hamptons United aggregates information for 14 non-profits on the East End. Back in April both my children wanted to make a donation to a local charity. They read through all of the information on the Hamptons United website, and with one click, they were able to donate to the local organization of their choice. My daughter chose The Retreat and my son chose Supplies for Success.
