The Sag Harbor Cinema's (SHC) Drive-in series continues at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor. Every Sunday night for the rest of the summer, an outdoor screening of dazzling film classics will take place brought to the comfort of your car.

On July 26th, the SHC revisits summertime romance, The Seven Year Itch. A publishing executive in a midlife crisis meets a charming beauty played by Marilyn Monroe in the classic summertime romantic comedy. The film includes one of the most famous scenes in cinematic history of Monroe's white dress in flight over a gusty subway grate.

August 2nd brings Benh Zeitlin's Beasts of the Southern Wild. The film transports us to a mysterious and magical world through the eyes of an audacious six-year-old named Hushpuppy, played by Quvenzhané Wallis in the breakout role that earned her an Academy Award nomination at age 9 — the youngest nomination in history.

On August 9th, SHC will show Big Wednesday, John Milius' semi-autobiographical love letter to Malibu. The film portrays the friendship between three passionate surfers — Matt (Jan-Michel Vincent), Jack (William Katt), and Leroy (Gary Busey) — navigating the waves, growing up, and the Vietnam draft during the mid Sixties.

On August 16th, SHC heads to the summer of 1987 in Greg Mottola's bittersweet comedy, Adventureland. The all-star ensemble cast follows recent Oberlin graduate James (Jesse Eisenberg) whose summer plans to explore Europe before graduate school are thwarted by his parents' financial problems, so he is forced to take a job at the local amusement park in his hometown of Pittsburgh.

On August 23rd, SHC hits the road with Ridley Scott's thrilling and unforgettable road movie Thelma & Louise, about two best friends (Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon) on the run from their lives and the police in Arkansas.

The end of the summer draws to a close on August 30th with Rob Reiner's timeless coming-of-age film Stand by Me. This bittersweet film follows four teenage friends (River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Wil Wheaton, and Jerry O'Connell) who set off on an adventure through rural Oregon to find the body of a missing boy over the course of the Labor Day weekend in 1959.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Screenings start approximately at 9:00 p.m. and the park opens at 8:30 p.m. Havens Beach is located just off Bay Street in Sag Harbor.
