East End Children’s Halloween Parties, The Annual Frankenstein Appearance, Enchanted Forrest, And More

If your little one just can't get enough Halloween happenings, here's where to celebrate.

Children's Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, www.cmee.org) will present its beloved annual Halloween Bash on Friday, October 25. From 4 to 6 p.m., little ones will enjoy spooky games, trick or treating, haunted crafts, and more. The ghoulish gathering does typically sell out, so make sure to sign up early.

Frankenstein Follies, a Halloween musical review directed/choreographed by Helene Leonard, will return to Bay Street Theater (1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor, www.stagesworkshop.org) for the 25th year. The cast of talented local young performers will take the stage Friday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, October 26 at 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 27 at 2:30 p.m. There will be a special 25th Anniversary Special Alumni Show on Saturday, October 26 at 8 p.m.

Halloween will be celebrated a little early at Good Ground Park (9A Squiretown Road, Hampton Bays, www.facebook.com). On Saturday, October 26, the magical affair will begin with the annual Mark Sinclair Foundation walk-about on Main Street to trick or treat at merchants with pumpkin decals on their windows from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Then, head to Good Ground Park from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for fun and games, pumpkin decorating, arts & crafts, music from a DJ, food trucks, and more. The Circus Guy will treat the crowd to magic, juggling, unicycling and comedy at 1 p.m. and again at 1:50 p.m.

The Bats, Barnacles & Broomsticks Halloween Party at Long Island Aquarium (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, www.longislandaquarium.com) will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The afternoon will feature trick or treating, raffles, author readings, demonstrations, arts and crafts, music, games, the chance to admire some of the Aquarium's resident animals in costume and more.

Quogue Wildlife Refuge (3 Old Country Road, Quogue, quoguewildliferefuge.org) is offering three chances to set out into its Enchanted Forest, where you will encounter whimsical, fun, and educational characters on the forest trails. Additionally, the parking lot will be packed with games and activities. Attendees may come donning their Halloween best. The Enchanted Forest will be open on Saturday, October 26 from 12 to 2 p.m., Sunday, October 27 from 12 to 2 p.m. and Saturday, November 2 from 12 to 2 p.m.

Ladies' Village Improvement Society's (95 Main Street, East Hampton, lvis.org) annual Halloween Party will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be treats, storytelling, and some special decor, as the house and the dollhouse will be embellished especially for the occasion.

East Hampton Library (159 Main Street, East Hampton, www.eventbrite.com) will bring the scares during its Haunted Library experience, open to those ages 10-years-old and up. Open on Saturday, October 26 from 7 to 9 p.m., the tour takes about 15 minutes and tour-goers may come in costume. There is no fee, but advanced registration is requested.
