In addition to its spring and fall festivals, the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce will introduce its Inaugural Summer Festival in Herrick Park on Saturday, August 17.
"We are extremely proud of the progress we've made as an organization, more importantly as a community," Glenn O. Vickers II, Board President of East Hampton Chamber of Commerce, reflected. "All of our partners including the Village of East Hampton and Town of Hampton have been incredibly supportive. Without their help, we would not be able to create these experiences."
The Festival will highlight all the places to dine, stay, shop and play in the Hamptons.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock and the 1969 Summer of Love, attendees will enjoy live music featured during Woodstock Music Festival. Local bands playing include Potter/Tekulsky Band and The Space Bandits featuring Klyph Black.
With over 50 booths showcasing local artists, shopkeepers and non-profits, the Festival will also take over the downtown park.

, added, "We're very excited to introduce an affordable summer festival to locals and visitors alike. We thank the Village for its cooperation in making Herrick Park available. There'll be plenty to do for kids; plenty to eat for all and over 50 booths to browse. It should be a blast!"
Local village eateries will be open all day offering specials and local craft beers. Onsite, the Festival will offer many delicious bites, including wood-fired pizza, tacos from Mattitaco, gourmet chocolate-covered ice cream sandwiches from Hamptons Chocolates and much more.
The tremendous YMCA KIDZONE will be the highlight for younger visitors. Featuring a giant American Ninja inflatable course, a 30-foot climbing rock wall, lawn hockey and so many more fun activities, kids will not want to leave the Festival.
The Bedside Authors Reading Booth will welcome several notable authors, including Patricia Gussin (Come Home
