Life@Nite: Hamptons Ugly Sweater Parties

While National Ugly Sweater Day falls on Friday, December 21, you don't have to wait until then to break out your heinous holiday gear.
Southampton History Museum is hosting An Ugly Sweater Party two weekends before National Ugly Sweater Day. On Saturday, December 8, the Museum's annual Hearthside Cheer will offer some ugly sweater flair, and there will also be food, drinks, music, some surprises, and plenty of seasonal merriment. The gathering, which is a competition for the title of ugliest sweater, will be held at the Captain Albert Rogers Mansion

) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $35 to $60.

) will host its annual extravaganza headlined by Hello Brooklyn
on Saturday, December 15 at 10 p.m. Tickets to the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party are $10 and there will be a prize for ugliest
sweater at stake.
The Springs Tavern (15 Fort Pond Boulevard, East Hampton, www.thespringstavern.com
) is joining forces with The Divas Karaoke to host an Ugly Sweater Karaoke Party on Saturday, December 15 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The partygoer donning the ugliest sweater and the runner-up will be awarded with a gift basket courtesy of The Springs Tavern.
