Anyone who's been to a concert at Stephen Talkhouse
in Amagansett knows what a special, intimate space it is to see a show. So, when The Killers
, one of the world's biggest bands, took center stage at the Hamptons hotspot during an exclusive show for SiriusXM subscribers on Saturday, July 28, it was absolutely electric.
Led by Brandon Flowers, who is easily the most charismatic lead singer I've ever seen live, the band performed classics like Mr. Brightside
, Read My Mind
and Somebody Told Me,
as well as newer tunes such as Run For Cover
and The Man
from The Killers' latest album, Wonderful Wonderful.

The band had the crowd in an absolute tizzy when they broke into Tom Petty's American Girl.
Flowers told the crowd that agreeing to honor Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers during the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
induction ceremony was the easiest decision they've ever had to make as a group.
When it came time to perform All These Things That I've Done,
Flowers reminisced about the past. "This was when The Killers were just starting," he started off. "I was really, really into Lou Reed
I was really, really into Hunky Dory
by David Bowie
"So, I was doing my best Lou Reed one day and I had this idea - I was carting bags up to up rooms. I said, 'Help me out, yeah, you know you got to help me out. Yeah, yeah. Oh don't you put me on the backburner. You know you got to help me out,'" he continued. "And that was how it started and everyone got their hands on it and it became The Killers."
The invite only concert, which aired live on SiriusXM's Alt Nation channel, brought out Jon Bon Jovi
, Jane Krakowski
, Andy Cohen
, Chad Smith
, John Benjamin
Hickey, Gary Cohen, and Ron Delsener.

The Killers' Hamptons show at the Talkhouse will be rebroadcast on SiriusXM's Alt Nation on Tuesday, July 31 at 8 a.m.
And if you haven't seen The Killers live yet, we highly recommend you make an effort to - whether you know just about every word to all of their songs or can just pick out a few of the melodies from their biggest hits. The band never ever disappoints - and this is coming from someone who's seen them live four times now. Flowers' passion for his craft shines through the second he takes the stage.
