will present a "salute to our community wellness champions" during its 7th annual summer benefit on Saturday, June 16. Taking place at Mulford Farm
in East Hampton from 6 to 8 p.m., attendees will be treated to healthy yet delicious plant-based hors d'oeuvres by acclaimed chef and Vegan Iron Chef
winner Jay Astafa, cocktails and live music by MTK the Band.
The evening will celebrate a group from the Foundation's Wellness Zone who have made a tremendous impact on the wellbeing of those around them.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet author Matthew Prescott, who will be signing copes of his book, Food is the Solution: What to Eat to Save the World
Tickets to Wellness Foundation's 7th annual summer benefit are $175 per person with discounted prices available to local teachers and those under the age of 25. Proceeds will support Wellness Foundation's school wellness programs on the East End.
Wellness Foundation was founded by Doug Mercer in 2005, who was inspired to create the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization after learning about East Hampton Middle School students that were boycotting unhealthy school lunch food. The Foundation's mission is to "empower children and adults with the information and tools they need to build a healthy future."
