The time to give your kitchen the night off has come.

From Sunday, April 8 through Sunday, April 15, a 3-course prix fixe menu will be offered at several local eateries for just $28.95 as part of East End Restaurant Week - presented by WordHampton Public Relations' Long Island Restaurant & Marketing Hospitality Group, which will also feature exclusive offers at lodging properties.

"Hamptons restaurant week allows customers who wouldn't necessarily visit the restaurant to come and experience what we do and how we do it, year round," said Mark Smith, Owner, Nick & Toni's.

In the Hamptons, participating restaurants include 1 North Steakhouse in Hampton Bays, Sunday's on the Bay Restaurant in Hampton Bays, Cowfish Restaurant in Hampton Bays, RUMBA Island Inspired Cuisine & Rum Bar in Hampton Bays, Shippy's Pumpernickels Restaurant East in Southampton, Union Cantina in Southampton, Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor, The Bell & Anchor in Sag Harbor, Fresno in East Hampton, Nick & Toni's Restaurant in East Hampton, and The 1770 House in East Hampton.

"Restaurant Week is always a very busy week at The 1770 House," noted The 1770 House General Manager Carol Covell. "We see new customers who welcome the occasion to try our delicious food and friendly service. We see loyal guests who welcome another reason to return and make it a night out with friends."

In addition to attracting new faces, some East End eateries use the event to introduce exciting new options. "Here at Union Cantina we aim to please, participating in Restaurant Week is a great way for our guests to have a new dining experience for an amazing price, we're thrilled to be participating again!" Ian Duke, owner of Union Cantina, added. "In fact we love it so much, we'll be offering it for two weeks instead of one; giving guests a wonderful opportunity to not only try out Union Cantina at a great price, but to also debut some new food and beverage selections from our coming spring/summer menu."

"Even though Lulu is very much a convivial and approachable Mediterranean bistro, restaurants in the Hamptons can sometimes feel intimidating and first impressions misleading," said Steven Jauffrineau of Lulu Kitchen & Bar. "Restaurant Week is a format that allows year-round restaurants such as Lulu to reveal its true identity to an ever-growing local community that personifies our core business."

Others who will be enticing diners with the incredible deal include Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue, Trumpets On The Bay in Eastport, La Plage Restaurant in Wading River, Pure North Fork Craft Bar & Bistro in Wading River, Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow, aMano Restaurant in Mattituck, Legends in New Suffolk, Touch of Venice Restaurant in Cutchogue, A Lure Restaurant in Southold, noah's in Greenport, and The Halyard in Greenport.

"Diners look forward to East End Restaurant Week all year round," noted Long Island Restaurant & Marketing Hospitality Group President Steve Haweeli. "It's a great opportunity to try top notch East End restaurants, without breaking the bank."

If you want to really take advantage of the sweet dining options, make it a mini Hamptons staycation or vacation. Daunt's Albatross Motel in Montauk is offering 15 percent off, Montauk Manor in Montauk is offering 20 percent off a one night stay, or stay for three nights and you'll get the third night free, and The Baker House 1650 in East Hampton is offering 10 percent off room rates.

"We hope to attract diners from all over Long Island and even in New York City with the lodging component as well," Haweeli added.

The prix fixe menu will be available every night the restaurants are open, except on Saturday when the menu might only be offered until 7 p.m., depending on the eatery.
