Center Stage at Southampton Cultural Center, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will present Boeing Boeing, a play written by French playwright Marc Camoletti, this fall.

The play, set in the 1960s (the decade in which it was written), is a comedy centered around the main character, Bernard, who is engaged to not one, not two, but to three stewardesses. What complicates this situation further is the release of a faster Boeing jet, which disrupts his carefully constructed schedule and causes all three fiancées to be in the same city at the same time. "Hilarious chaos ensues" as Bernard struggles to keep track of what lies he has told.

"Blustering and blisteringly funny, this soufflé never falls short of delivering laughs and physically comedic broad stokes," shared Director Michael Disher about the production, which stars Dane DuPuis, Shannon DuPuis, Samantha Honig, John Leonard, Catherine Maloney and Josephine Wallace.

Boeing Boeing was first staged in London's West End at the Apollo Theatre in 1962 and moved to the Duchess Theatre in 1965. It came to Broadway at the Cort Theatre in 1965. It was revived in the UK in 2007 and on Broadway a year later. Boeing Boeing was nominated for six Tony Awards. It received two Tonys, one of which was for Best Revival of a Play.

"The cast is eagerly awaiting an audience - the last ingredient in this recipe for a confection of chaos and confusion," added Disher.
