What To Toast To Dad With This Father’s Day

If dad likes to kick back and relax with a cocktail every now and then, here's what to serve him on Father's Day.

Purus Mule:

 • 2 oz. Purus Vodka
 • 1/2 oz. fresh Lime Juice
 • 3 oz. Ginger Beer (feel free to add a splash or two more, depending on desired flavor)
 • Lime Wedge, for garnish
 • Mint Leaf, for garnish

Directions: Fill copper mug with ice. Pour Purus Vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer over ice. Stir vigorously. Add mint and lime wedge as garnish.

Sipsmith Classic Negroni:

 • 1 oz. Sipsmith London Dry Gin
 • 1 oz. Carpano Sweet Vermouth
 • 1 oz. Campari

Directions: Stir well and strain into a short glass with ice. Garnish with an orange slice.

Citrus Thyme Manhattan:

 • 2 parts Hornitos® Black Barrel® Tequila
 • 1/2 part Sweet Vermouth
 • 1/2 part Aperol®
 • 1/4 part Lemon Thyme Syrup
 • 2 dashes Angostura® Bitters
 • Grapefruit Twist, for garnish

Directions: Combine equal parts sugar and water with 3 lemon peels and one part thyme and bring to a boil to create lemon thyme syrup. Allow the mixture to cool, add all ingredients together in a mixing glass with ice and stir. Pour ingredients from mixing glass into an old fashioned glass with filled with ice. Garnish with grapefruit twist.

Cointreau Cold Brew:

 • 1.5 oz. Cointreau
 • 3 oz. Cold Brew Coffee
 • 1 oz. Coconut Milk

Directions: Shake Cointreau, cold brew, and coconut milk in a shaker with ice and strain into a rocks glass over ice.

Maple Old Fashioned:

 • 2 parts Hudson Maple Cask Rye
 • 1 teaspoon good Maple Syrup
 • 3-4 dashes (to taste) Aromatic Bitters
 • Apple Slice, for garnish
 • Cinnamon Stick, for garnish

Directions: To an Old Fashioned glass, add maple syrup, then bitters, then ice, followed by the Hudson Maple Cask Rye. Stir well to mix and chill. Add garnish and serve.

Smoke and Fire Margarita:

 • 3/4 part Montelobos Mezcal
 • 3/4 part Ancho Reyes
 • 3/4 part Milagro Silver Tequila
 • 1 part fresh Lime Juice
 • 1/2 part Agave Nectar

Directions: Using a lime, wet the rim of an old fashioned glass, salt it, and set aside. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, shake, and double strain over fresh ice into the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel.
