Angelo David Salon and 95.5 PLJ are teaming up again to host the 2nd annual Blow Out Breast Cancer in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, October 20th. All proceeds of the event - that will take place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. - will directly benefit the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF), an international research organization dedicated to curing and preventing cancer.

"The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation is very grateful to Angelo David Pisacreta for his dedication to supporting breast cancer research through the annual Blow Out Breast Cancer benefit," said Samuel Waxman, MD, Founder and CEO of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. "Breast cancer is one of the many areas of research where our grantees are making progress and this is made possible in part through support from the Angelo David Salon's event, its generous clients and its partner 95.5 WPLJ."

Angelo David Salon is New York City's leading luxury hair salon for couture hair extensions, wigs and additions. Special appearances will be made by 95.5 PLJ personalities Jayde and Annie, as well as other surprise guests! On the day of the event, Angelo David Salon is offering $25 blowouts - for which 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the SWCRF. The salon will also be serving hors d'oeuvres, wine and cocktails by Tabooze, and attendees will also receive exclusive gift bags.

"Angelo David Salon is proud to unite for a second year with 95.5. PLJ and the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation to honor breast cancer survivors and help raise money for a cure," said Angelo David Pisacreta. "At Angelo David Salon we provide couture hair care solutions to help those affected by cancer or any other condition which is causing hair loss."
