"We are so thrilled to be celebrating the 6th anniversary of Taste of Tuckahoe," said PTO Co-Secretary Kathy Grigo. "This continues to be one of the highly anticipated events of the spring season, and really brings the community together for a memorable evening of great food, drink, and fun, while raising money for the Tuckahoe Common School."

"Iron Chef America" judge Karine Bakhoum is returning to host the foodie spring extravaganza, along with WBAZ's Walker Vreeland. The enticing evening begins with a special VIP hour from 6 to 7 p.m., where attendees will be treated to an advanced preview of the featured food and drinks, as well as a chance to browse through and place a bid on the items featured in the Chinese and Silent auctions. At 7 p.m., the event opens to general admission guests, who will nosh on culinary highlights paired with signature sips from local favorites. The night will also include music by DJ Chris Cenzoprano.

2016 attendees include 230 Elm, Backbar Grille, Blue Duck Bakery Cafe, Edgewater Restaurant, The Golden Pear, Krieg's Bakery, The Lobster Grille, Mercado, Old School Favorites, Palmer Vineyards, Saaz, Sabrosa Mexican Grill, South Fork Deli, Southampton Publick House, Southampton Social Club, Starbucks, Stone Creek Inn, Sunday's on the Bay, Townline BBQ, Twin Fork Beer Co., Tully's Seafood Market, Village Gourmet Cheese Shoppe and Vindagra.

Since Taste of Tuckahoe was founded in 2011, the reasonably priced event has continued to grow and become a seasonal success that shines a spotlight on delectable offerings from East End establishments while raising vital funds. All proceeds from the benefit will support the students of Tuckahoe School, and will go towards enhancing their education.

Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 at the door for general admission. VIP tickets are $60, and available at Southrifty Drug (54 Jagger Lane, Southampton) or online.
