Countdown To Beach Season: 100 Days To Summer Means Time For A Tropical Inspired Cocktail

If snowstorm after snowstorm is giving you the winter blues, get excited for this annual milestone. While it may seem like the Hamptons beach season is still incredibly far away, on Thursday, March 12th it's officially 100 days until summer. We think that's definitely a reason to raise a glass and toast, so here are six tropical cocktails to enjoy as you wait for warm weather to finally arrive.

1. Azzurre Pineapple Coco-Banana Freeze:

 • 2 oz. Azzurre Vodka
 • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
 • 2 oz. Coconut Milk
 • 1 frozen Banana
 • 1/2 cup fresh Pineapple
 • Pineapple Slice for garnish

Directions: Blend all ingredients with ice in a blender for 20 seconds. Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple.

2. Blueberry 46:

 • 2 parts Maker's 46 Bourbon
 • 1 part St-Germain
 • 10 fresh Blueberries

Directions: Muddle the St-Germain and blueberries together in a glass. Add ice and the Maker's 46. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

3. Hornitos LeMANade:

 • 2 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
 • 1/2 part Lime Juice
 • 1 1/2 part Ginger Ale
 • 1 1/2 part Lemonade

Directions: Combine ingredients in a glass and serve. Garnish with a lemon peel or slice.

4. Skinny Ginger:

 • 2 parts 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey
 • Diet Ginger Ale
 • Lemon Wedge
 • Lime Wedge

Directions: Slice lemons and limes and garnish collins glasses. Fill pint glasses with ice and add 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey and diet ginger ale.

5. Cruzan Summer Sway:

 • 1 1/2 parts Cruzan Peach Rum
 • 2 1/12 parts Sparkling Wine
 • 2 1/12 parts Soda Water
 • 1 Lime Wedge
 • 1 Strawberry

Directions: Squeeze limes wedge into a wine glass and drop in along with a sliced strawberry. Add remaining ingredient and stir. Fill with ice.

6. Gin Cup: (Created by Bombay Sapphire North American Brand Ambassador, Gary Hayward)

 • 7.5 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
 • 4 oz. Pimm's
 • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
 • 7.5 oz. Ginger Ale
 • 10 Mint Sprigs
 • 10 Cucumber Slices
 • 5 Orange Wheels
 • 6 Strawberries

Directions: Build with ice in punch bowl and stir. Serves 5 people.
