"The show is about 'Family, Faith & Food,'" noted Bill Kitzerow, Assistant Director of North Fork Community Theater's (NFCT) upcoming production.

"Over the River and Through the Woods," NFCT's next production, centers on Nick, a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who was just offered an amazing career opportunity on the West Coast. Most of his close-knit family still live in Jersey, including both sets of grandparents, who he has Sunday dinner with every week. When his family finds out Nick could possibly be leaving for the West Coast, they've devastated and start a series of schemes to keep him in the Tri-state area. The hysterical comedy showcases family dynamics, opportunities and the realities of life.
