"The objective of PechaKucha Night Hamptons is to acknowledge and celebrate the boundless creative talent in our community," noted series organizer Andrea Grover, Curator of Special Projects at Parrish Art Museum. "PechaKucha is an informative way to connect and socialize with the many artists, writers, actors, designers, chefs, and wide-ranging creative professionals."

On Friday, December 12th at 6 p.m., the Parrish Art Museum is presenting Vol. 10 of its popular PechaKucha Night Hamptons. Named for the sound of "chit-chat" in Japanese, the event features an assorted roster of East Enders, who will have six minutes and 40 seconds to show 20 slides during the fast-paced presentation. The theme of the evening will be living creatively on the East End.

The international series was founded in Tokyo in 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture. The Parrish is the Hamptons hub for Pechakucha, which takes place in over 700 cities globally.
