A room of ancient Eastern icons in the Tibet House led to a small corridor and opened into a large gallery space illuminated with Hedy Klineman's exhibition of ancient Buddhas in in vibrant colors. "Buddhas in the Garden" was a meditative yet modern take on the mystical figure. Filling both rooms: another collection, the Hamptons and NYC social and media figures that respond to the siren call of R. Couri Hay's invitation. Sharon Bush, Robin Cofer, Joy Marks, Regina Kravitz, Maggie Norris, Hampton's Gallery owner Vered and Janet Lehr, Michael Musto, Unik Ernest, Adrian Elcock, Reginald Van Lee, Nicole Noonan, Julie Hayek, Elaine Sargent, Madame Mayhem, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, and Richard Johnson. Dare we say, also a mix of the timeless and new?

During her 40 year career, Klineman has been exhibited the Whitney, Rubin, Hood and Vizcaya Museums, among others, as well as in solo exhibitions at Bridgewater Lustberg Gallery, Benrimon Contemporary, Dorothy Blau, and Vered Modern, and various international institutions. Her paintings can be found in the private collections of Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Patrick McMullan, Shelley and Donald Rubin.

The show will remain open until December 12, 2013. Hedy Klineman will donate 50% of the proceeds from sales to the Tibet House US.

Johnson -- of Page 6 fame -- told us he had only returned to New York a week earlier, to have his own column in the New York Post. A good thing, we replied. In New York, like "(Ou)R" Couri Hay, Johnson feels like ours as well.
