The 21st Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) will open on Thursday, October 10th with "Kill Your Darlings" starring Daniel Radcliffe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Michael C. Hall. At age 21, Tim Lake (Gleeson) learns a unique family ability passed down from his father (Nighy), he can travel back in time. During the romantic comedy, Lake attempts to master his time-tripping skills to woo the woman of his dreams.

The Festival's Centerpiece films are "Nebraska" and "August: Osage County." "Nebraska" stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte. The film which was directed Alexander Payne, follows Woody Grant (Dern) and his estranged son David Grant (Forte) as they travel from Montana to Nebraska to collect a Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize.

The film shows the barbarism and unexpected kindnesses Northup faces in his struggle to stay alive. During the 12th year, he meets a Canadian abolitionist (Brad Pitt) who alters the course of Northup's journey.

"Each of these 3 films presents an insightful look at America, both contemporaneously and historically, as well as urban and rural. These artists have each made unique films that we are so proud to share with our audiences in the Hamptons," noted David Nugent, HIFF Artistic Director.
