The Hamptons are definitely a hotspot for international art fairs during the summer.

Art Southampton is coming back Thursday, July 25 through Monday, July 29, for its second time at the Art Southampton Pavilion on the grounds of the Southampton Elks Lodge. This year's show will feature collections from 85 galleries with works concentrated on the 20th and 21st centuries. Last year, Art Southampton attracted over 11,500 guests.

According to Partner and Director of Art Miami Nick Kornliff, guests can expect a luxury event with a high quality selection of art pieces. Last year there were around 50 galleries participating. This year, that number is up to 88 galleries availing their art to the public.

"It is important the Hamptons and East End community have rich history of artists," said Kornliff. "The audience is being left to service with a less than quality work of art."

The Art Southampton Pavilion, a mere 100,000 feet, will house a VIP lounge and works centered around 20th and 21st centuries art. Unlike ArtHamptons and artMRKT Hamptons, Kornliff says that Art Miami, which runs Art Southampton, has the reputation of hosting some of the most-decorated artists in the world.

The tent being used to house Art Southampton, with all of its amenities, is being donated to Southampton Hospital's Summer Benefit. "It'll be the first time they have upgraded amenities," Kornliff said. "Over the long run, it will raise a lot of money for the hospital. It's the most important institution if people have a medical emergency."

Kornliff said that this year's show will be even better than last year, one that he said many called the premiere art fair in the Hamptons. At this point, the tent is up and Kornliff is ready for the artists to show up to show off.

"Guests can expect to, I really think, be really surprised at the work, ambiance, amenities, whether they're a VIP or art enthusiast," he said.

Daily tickets are $15. Multi-day passes are $30. Students (ages 12 to 18) are $10 and groups of 10 or more can purchase $10 daily passes.
