The 2013 Hampton Designer Showhouse is a traditional shingle style home provided by Bodenchak Design and Build and features 30 interior designers and decorative artists.

Hamptons.com got a sneak peak while designers were in the midst of putting on the finishing touches of their rooms. When walking throughout the Showhouse many of the designers revealed they had a, "oh no, I need it now moment," and headed to Mecox Gardens (257 County Road 39A, Southampton, 631-287-5015, mecox.com) to find their final accessories.

Some of the highlights include the living room designed by Brian del Toro Inc. The rooms color palette of mostly white, with accents of coral, black and turquoise-blue was inspired by a recent trip del Toro took to Beiging, China.

Take a left and enter the room designed by Sherrill Canet Interiors, LTD. which includes hung frames as a play on the tone on tone design technique.

Head outside to see the Asian-inspired outdoor area created by Bryant Keller Interiors. He chose teak furniture which was meant to be outside and holdup in the weather. Keller was so inspired by the theme he framed and hung a rice basket as an outdoor accessory.

Upstairs in the bedroom designed by Barbara Page Home, designer Barbara Page Glatt found the inspiration for the room from her daughter who is heading to college in Scotland soon. She wanted to create room that a young woman would want to come home to. During the design process, her biggest challenge were the peaks in the ceilings which left uneven wall heights throughout the room. She unified the room with patterned wallpaper. Glatt, who loves to travel, incorporated pieces from her travels to Santorini and Istanbul in the space.

Kemble Interiors also designed one the house's bedrooms. We met with designer Celerie Kemble who told us that she wanted to create a room that "felt it could be lived in year round as opposed to the summery beachy feel some Hamptons homes have." This was first time Kemble has been able to use her four product lines in the same project and it all "came together." For her it was like throwing all her children in a room together and hoping they all got along. As a nod to her emerging product lines she included portraits of her children in the room to symbolize the merging.

While most people don't think basements can be sexy, Worth Interiors have the accomplished the hard feat with stylish ease. While the navy walls with brass accent studs make it a bit of a "man cave," women will love the look too. We found it "so sexy!"

The lower level of the house also features a not to be missed theater with a popcorn machine, movie posters from "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Forrest Gump," and "Titanic," as well as a carpet so plush you'll sink into it.

The house also offers other great designs worth taking a peak at including: Alan Court & Associates, The Alpha Workshops, Audio Command Systems, Inc., Bakes and Company, Baltimore Design Group, Barbara Ostrom Associates, Barbara Page Home, Bradley Stephens, Stephens Design Group, Brady Design, Brian del Toro Inc., Bryant Keller Interiors, Dale Cohen Design Studio, Dennis R. McAvena Inc., diSalvo Interiors, Hagins & Mortimer Design, Jack Levy Design LLC, Kim Murauskas for Frontgate, Kemble Interiors, Ken Gemes Interiors, Kim E.
