Amador is screening as part of the the annual free Winter Film Series presented by Guild Hall
and the East Hampton Library
. On Sunday, January 13, watch the captivating story of Marcela, a young immigrant with financial troubles, finds a summer job looking after Amador, a bed-ridden elderly man whose family is away.
Marcela thinks this is the solution to her problems, but shortly after getting the job Amador dies which leaves Marcela in a predicament. Jobless and faced with a difficult moral dilemma, Marcela will prove that death can't always stop life. Amador is directed by Fernando Leon De Aranoa and is in Spanish with English Subtitles. The film begins at 4:30 p.m. and has a running time of 112.
