The Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Annual Family Day, the Hamptons' premier family event, will take place on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the Ross School - Lower Campus - in Bridgehampton, New York. The most highly-anticipated family event of the Hamptons summer, Family Day raises money to fund breakthrough studies targeting women's health and cancers. Family Day, which is hosted by Einstein's National Women's Division, draws an average of 1,000 people and raises approximately $350,000 annually to benefit medical research at Einstein. This year's Family Day is expected to be bigger and better than ever.

From pony rides to carnival games, face painting to tug of war, Family Day is a western-themed carnival that promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for everyone. Past VIP attendees include celebrities such as Edie Falco, Kelly Rutherford, Christie Brinkley and Elie Tahari, among others.

This year, actress and singer Elizabeth Gillies of Nickelodeon's award-winning series Victorious will perform and participate in a meet-and-greet with guests where she'll pose for photos and sign autographs. Additionally, the New York Knicks Groove Truck, led by former Knick Larry Johnson, will hold basketball demonstrations and games. Other activities include a family yoga class courtesy of leading national yoga studio YogaWorks, Western hairstyling by the famed New York City kids' salon Cozy's Cuts for Kids, and pony rides courtesy of Rocking Horse Farms. The event will also feature a silent auction, where attendees can bid on covetable prizes such as golf packages, luxury vacations, high-end jewelry and accessories, as well as fantastic children's packages and one-of-a-kind items.

Contributions to the event will help advance cutting-edge research at aimed at discovering treatments and potential cures for ovarian, uterine, cervical and breast cancers, conducted by some of the nation's leading medical experts at Einstein's Albert Einstein Cancer Center. Family Day is a can't-miss afternoon, bringing together a group of dynamic, sophisticated philanthropists dedicated to ensuring a healthier future for our mothers, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters and sisters.
