Love Heals Hosts The Ultimate Birthday Party At Thirteenth Annual Love Heals At Luna Farm

Thunderstorms did not stop guests from enjoying the Ultimate Birthday Party at Thirteenth Annual Love Heals at Luna Farms benefit celebrating organization's Twentieth anniversary. The event which was hosted by Hilary Rhoda, Charlotte Ronson, Andrew Saffir and Daniel Benedict raised over $300,000 for The Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education.

Guests were treated to southern BBQ brought from South Carolina and cooked on-site for 24 hours prior to the event while sipping on specialty cocktails from Patron including the Patron Birthday Splash, Luna Farm Refresher, and Healing Touch. Guests enjoyed music from DJ Kiss who kept the crowd dancing with her tunes. For those who were feeling creative with their cocktails guests could create their own muddle drink at the Patron bar and then stop by Tara McCauley who was creating balloons animals and creations.

Others in attendance included the organization's co-founder, Dini von Mueffling, supermodel Nicole Trunfio, pianist Chloe Flower, designer Rebecca Minckoff, Rodale's David Zincenko, news anchor Chris Wragge, Stephanie Hirsch, Peter Davis, Kelly Delaney, Richard Farley, Richard Johnson & Sessa von Richtofen, Scott Lipps, Avis Richards, Eric Villency, Teresa Sorkin, Martin & Nina Varsavsky. Alison Gertz' parents Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Gertz were also in attendance.

Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, was founded in 1992 to carry on the memory of the late AIDS activist Alison Gertz, who contracted HIV from a single sexual encounter at the age of 16. Love Heals, empowers young people in the fight against HIV through a youth empowerment programs are training a new generation of community educators and activists.
