, a renowned East End artist over the past four decades.
There is still one ground floor retail unit at 34 Bay Street that is awaiting a new tenant and, in the meantime, its span of 12 "picture windows" have gone begging for some lively display. Well, that changed on March 26 when the 3' x 3' works of Bowden were mounted in each picture window making the vacant space feel much more like an "art gallery" - at least for the time being.
The works by Bowden cover the last three decades of her career and mainly depict local bays and beaches - hence the title of the show "East End Impressions." Bowden has generously donated all the art to Fighting Chance; therefore, all proceeds from the sale of the art go to Fighting Chance.
