How the Jews Came to Long Island

The story begins with 23 Jewish refugees landing in New Amsterdam and
ends with the Panic of 1837 and the rise of August Belmont. This is one
of two PowerPoint lectures given by Tom Edmonds, executive director of
the Southampton History Museum.
