This years showhouse was built by Grande Design Residential Inc. It showcases the work of over twenty designers including Audio Command Systems Inc., Bakes and Company, Dyfari Interiors, Greg Mckenzie, House Of Honey, Jeff Lincoln Interiors, Inc., Jennifer McConnell, Kate Singer Home, Katie Leede and Company, Lee Najman Designs, The Lee W. Robinson Company, Libby Interiors, Inc., Lillian August, Lucille Khornak Photography, Mabley Handler Interior Design, Mark Humphrey Gallery, Mercedes Courland Design, Inc., Old Town Crossing, Patrik Lonn Design Inc, Robert Passal Interior & Architectural Design, Stephen Mooney Interiors, Tammy Connor Interior Design, Tara Seawright, Inc./Interior Design and Timothy Brown Studio

Designer, author and makeover television personality Libby Langdon designed the largest area of the house which is the 1,150 square foot basement. In less than a month she totally transformed the area which was completely unfinished into a relaxed retreat reminiscent of an English clubroom with a modern, sexy twist.

Some of the designers were inspired by the Hamptons when designing their room. They wanted to keep their rooms simple yet chic. A few used fabrics they were using in the room as a starting point.

The gala preview party was attended by the showhouse designers along with Kathy and Rick Hilton, Charlotte Moss, Honorary Design Co-Chairmen Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton, Pavlos Papageorgiou, Robert Chaloner, Brian Brady, Judy Hadlock, Beth and Bob Brenner, Ann Maine, Showhouse Management Tony Manning and Mary Lynch, and honorary showhouse chairman Mario Buatta.

The Hamptons Designer Showhouse is open through September 3, from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. and is located at 80 Flying Point Road in Water Mill. Admission is $30 and includes a Journal. For more information visit hamptonsdesignershowhouse.com .
