LTV is bringing together some of the East End's shining stars who will showcase their talents during a Creative Artists Salon Series on Friday, February 22. The amusing affair, revolving around performance, conversing, imaginative collaborations and networking, will offer local actors, musicians, comedians, filmmakers and visual artists the opportunity to present their work, with performances ranging from an up-and-coming singer to a veteran performer who's debuting new stuff.
LTV's Creative Director, Angela LaGreca
will host, while Lenny Babbish will serve as musical director and LTV's Franklin Quito will provide the evening's tunes. There will also be wine served courtesy of The Springs Tavern.
"I'm excited about the Salon at LTV -- we have a great wealth of talent out east and on Friday we are assembling a variety of some of the East End's most dynamic minds and creatives to share new work, ideas, and their talent! I used to do these Salon's at my house -- and always loved together bright minds and artists of all kinds: visual and performing," LaGreca explained. "We would 'play' and share and try things out, sometmes I would conduct interviews -- it was always satisfying and not something you can always do (especially for people who are seasoned and when the public expects a polished performance). So it is not so much a 'talent show' as a night of works-in-progress."
Expected participants and special guests include Joy Behar
, Julie Bluestone, Patrick Christiano, Steven Gaines
, David Geiser
, Irene Glezoes, Bridget Le Roy, Mago & Marsin, Haim Mizrahi
, Bobby Priel, Karen Saunders, Aida Turturro
, Rosario Varela, Athos Zachariah, Robert Zimmerman
, and more.
"I'm hosting, performing and trying out two scenes from a play i'm working on, with actress Irene Glezos (Springs), Joy Behar has some scenes she has written that will be read, and a new short play by actors Aida Turturro and Mario Cantone
, Robert Zimmerman and Manny Vilar will have a conversation about local/national topics: Trump and the Wall, for example, and the issue of affordable housing in the Hamptons, Bridget LeRoy is doing a reading, Karen Saunders will act and sing, Julie Bluestone will play sax, Lenny Babbish is at the piano, Bobby Priel ('Prophet') is showing music video clips he wrote, stars in, and produced, and is being interviewed, Mago & Marsin will show clips of their new show on LTV, and talk with two artists featured at RJD Gallery for Black History Month, and visual artists work on the walls at LTV: David Geiser, Mago and Marsin, Rosario Varela, Haim Mizrahi, Athos Zachariah."
LaGreca, whose resume includes being Meredith Vieira's longtime Producer at the Today Show,
a Supervising Producer at The Meredith Vieira Show,

is an award-winning entertainer herself. One of her most recent projects is a new series called Who's Your Neighbor?
, which highlights three captivating community members. The first guests included Academy Award winning actress Mercedes Ruehl
, Randall Hemming, and Bobby Priel.
"LTV's mission is to provide a free-speech television and media platform to share 'all manner of public discourse, education, and creative expression within our community and the world at large.' And the Salon is a good reason to get out of the house and meet your creative neighbors, and see what they are up to," LaGreca shared. "We hope people come to play, share, and mingle."
Admission to the Creative Artists Salon Series is $10 and the event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m.
"LTV is YOU TV! So come find out what we're up to...," LaGreca encouraged.
