The 11th Annual Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts is set to return to the East End this Labor Day weekend.

Known for being one of America's top fine art events, the Paragon Festivals event will take place Saturday August 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday September 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Great Lawn, located on Main Street in Westhampton Beach.

"Art is a connection arising between something created by another and yourself. You are the key ingredient in that interaction," Bill Kinney, Event Director, relayed. "So come explore yourself through the exquisite works brought to Westhampton Beach by artisans from across America. Find those pieces that will forever touch and inspire your soul!"

The two-day event, hosted by St. Marks Episcopal Church, will offer attendees the opportunity to find original handmade art in sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography and mixed media, as well as meet the talented artists behind the work.

"Discovering art is a wondrous and beautiful experience. It is really the process of discovering something of yourself as you interact with pieces created by others," Kinney said. "In walking the event, you will encounter pieces that speak to you in ways you may not anticipate nor fully understand. Although that connection to nonetheless very real and beautiful, often lasting throughout your lifetime as you add those pieces to your life."

Admission and parking to the fair is free.
