"These dedicated artists show a wide range of style, with several award winning artists among them," shared Dom Lamontanoro, PhD, SAA President.

The not for profit organization was founded in 1989 to provide local residents with an opportunity to highlight their masterpieces in a professional setting. SAA presents four shows annually, including the Late Winter Show, Memorial Day Show, Labor Day Show and the Fall Show. Artists may also be selected to have their works showcased at the Town Hall in Southampton throughout the year. Additionally, SAA is responsible for two outdoor shows: Art-in-the-Park in July and the SouthamptonFest exhibition in October. Both are held at Agawam Park.

Those interested in getting into the arts can take one of SAA's painting classes or all media workshops. SAA also champions budding artists with yearly scholarships for local high school students.
