On Saturday, February 10, Tulla Booth Gallery in Sag Harbor will celebrate its latest exhibit, Winter to Spring, with an opening reception from 5 to 9 p.m. The photography exhibition will showcase the works of Blair Seagram, Stephen Wilkes, Daniel Jones, and Robert Dutesco.

Seagram, who was born in Ontario, has had work featured in collections in Tokyo, Switzerland, and Miami. Since the 1990s, she has exhibited throughout New York City and the Hamptons, photographing cityscapes, seascapes, landscapes, still life, water, and surfers.

"When my lens turned toward surfers I was inspired by their keen sense of timing catching a wave then riding across it," said Seagram. "The sequence of images that make up the surfing panoramas is less about a decisive moment than about a series of moments or continuity of actions that are presented as one still image."

Jones will be showing his newest body of work, his Seaside Expressions series, which was captured with a digital camera. "This body of work, a new beginning for Dan, has been widely admired by our collectors and fans in the gallery," the gallery noted.

Dutesco is another Canadian photographer based in New York. His work capturing the wild horses on Sable Island has won awards and succeeded in bringing awareness and protection to the island. During his career, he has photographed Justin Trudeau, the Dalai Lama, and Mikhail Gorbachev, sandscapes, water, flowers, and Eastern cultures.

Wilkes is a New York native with an accomplished career in photography. His work has been published/featured by NPR, CBS, Nike, Rolex, Sony, The New Yorker, and IBM. His Day to Night series captures famous cities and sites around the world, and in order to achieve some of of the shots he photographed from a 50-foot crane for nearly 12 hours. Most recently, his work was featured in an issue of National Geographic. Wilkes resides in Westport, Connecticut, which is also the location of his studio.

The Tulla Booth Gallery exhibits fine art, collectable photography. It is open Friday through Monday from 12:30 to 7 p.m., or by appointment. The exhibit will remain open until Tuesday, April 10.

Tulla Booth Gallery is located at 66 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, please visit tullaboothgallery.com.
