G.E. Smith Of The "Saturday Night Live" Band Hits Bay Street Theater

A Night to Rock, with a former "SNL" band leader and members of the "Saturday Night Live" band, is coming to Bay Street Theater, Saturday, June 20th at 8 p.m.
The musical Hamptons event will feature the G.E. Smith, who is one of the most highly sought after blues and rock guitarists worldwide. Smith has played with Hall and Oates and Bob Dylan, but is probably best known for his time as the leader of the "Saturday Night Live" band. He led the iconic band for 10 years, from 1985 to 1995. The talented guitarist even received an Emmy Award for his work with "SNL," and many of the show's best musical surprise moments came from when Smith invited guitar legends, including Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmour, Lonnie Mack, Dave Edmonds, Johnny Winter, and Buddy Guy, to join the band. The performance alongside Buddy Guy eventually resulted in Smith's 1996 Grammy-nominated "Buddy Guy Live: The Real Deal with G.E. Smith & The Saturday Night Live Band."
Tickets begin at $69.
