From 7 to 9 p.m. Bumann, who calls Yellowstone Park's northern entrance in Gardiner, Montana home, will regale audience members with an exceptional tale about one of Yellowstone's most notable alpha wolves - through a live sculpture demonstration.
"George Bumann is a renowned sculpture of wildlife and Hallockville is excited to have him bring his stories of Yellowstone to the North Fork," noted Herb Strobel
of Hallockville Museum Farm. "He has an engaging presentation style and the museum farm is grateful to Avalon Park and Preserve for facilitating George's visit and we thank Martha Clara Vineyards for hosting us for this very special evening."
The unique participatory event will not only offer extraordinary insight into an artist's process, but it will also delve into ways in which humans find meaning in natural experiences, and hopefully inspire attendees to share their own connection with the wild.
Bumann's pieces are featured in collections worldwide, as well as at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the Brinton Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming and the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana. His work can also be found in the editors of Southwest Art Magazine
's Sculpture of the Rockies.
The life-long observer of nature, who was raised in his mother's New York sculpture studio, is a member of the National Sculpture Society and the Society of Animal Artists.
