Greenport Village's 8th Annual Shellabration will be hosted once again in support of Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Marine Program, which focuses on shellfish restoration and community stewardship projects, on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, from 12 to 4 p.m. on both days. Participants will have access to Greenport's finest restaurants that will feature local shellfish, wine, and beer.

"We have an amazing line up of restaurants participating this year, the most ever! We're excited to feature numerous Shellabration newcomers including PORT, Claudio's and Ellen's on Front, along with many returning favorites," said Kimberly Barbour, CCE Marine Program Outreach Manager.

Participating restaurants will offer those wearing official Shellabration wristbands access to $5 small plate menu items paired with $3 tasting pours of local wine or craft beer. Additionally, local shops, including the Weathered Barn, Clark's Garden + Home, East End Seaport Museum and Foundation, Flying Point Surf + Sport, Greenport Wines & Spirits, Sweet Indulgences, Vines & Branches, Tea and Tchotchkes, Orenda, and more will have special promotions for Shellabration participants. It will be a weekend filled with delicious local food and fun holiday shopping all in support of the marine environment.

Shellabration eateries will include Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market, Andy's, Ellen's on Front, Claudio's Main Restaurant, Whiskey Wind Tavern, Greenporter Hotel, The Merchant's Wife, Kate's Cheese Co., American Beech, First and South, PORT Waterfont Bar & Grill, The Frisky Oyster, Noah's, Green Hill Kitchen, Industry Standard, Lucharitos, Stirling Sake, Basso, and Agave Grill & Cantina, while sips will be offered from McCall Wine, Macari Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Bedell Cellars, Lenz Winery, Sparkling Pointe Vineyards, Raphael Winery, Greenport Harbor Brewery, Cedar Sake, Long Ireland Brewing Co., and more.

"This event is something that so many look forward to each year," Barbour added. "We are grateful for the continued support of the Greenport BID as our presenting sponsor, and so appreciative of the Greenport Village community in general for hosting Shellabration!"

Reserve your wristband in advance as the event sells out every year! They are available for $30 for Weekend Admission and $20 for Sunday only. Shellabrants will be provided with their wristband packages at the designated pickup areas and will be treated to a complimentary first pairing of oysters and local craft beverage generously provided by Greenport Harbor Brewing Company and Borghese Vineyard.

Established in 1985, CCE's Marine Program's mission is "to protect our waters, providing a clean environment for our fish, fowl and plants."
