Once again, the Town of Riverhead and Riverhead BID is paying homage to American writer, editor, and literary critic Edgar Allan Poe with a weekend-long celebration that happens to fall on Halloween.
"The Edgar Allan Poe Festival is designed as a family friendly event and is Long Island's largest Halloween Party," noted Sal St. George, Creative Director of The Edgar Allan Poe Festival.

The festivities commence with a Poe Parade on Main Street at 7 p.m. Watch, or join along, as the Headless Horseman and ghoulish characters march down Main Street to macabre music, and you won't want to miss the big finish, a Michael Jackson
