Amagansett - Stony Hill Stables celebrated the launch of the Stony Hill Stable Foundation, with a benefit cocktail party on Saturday, June 30th. The event was attended by many of the parents and children who ride at Stony Hill Stables and guests enjoyed a special Dressage Exhibition by Wick Hotchkiss as well as a Pony Drill Team Performance by members of Stony Hill Stables.

Stony Hill Stables is owned and operated by the Hotchkiss family. Board member Cornelia Pernilla whose horses are boarded at Stony Hill spoke about how the foundation make sure that local families can be involved with riding. "The foundation will give talented young people an opportunity to be included in a sport which is expensive to participate in". Cornelia whose children ride at the stable is impressed with the trainers who are teaching the children about safety, being on a team and fostering a good ride.

Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a not-for-profit program established to offer full scholarship equitation training to local residents. Their mission is to promote equine sports, riding education, good sportsmanship and provide children and young adults with a healthy, life enhancing experience. Full scholarship will be awarded in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper Equitation Skills.
