The beloved 7th Annual Friends Bazaar is returning to Ashawagh Hall
in East Hampton this holiday season, but you better mark your calendar because it'll be there for one day only.
"I've attended the Christmas and Valentine art & fine crafts events at Ashawagh for years, and it's always the perfect place to buy original gifts," shared Kim Lombardini.
This year's holiday market will take place on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and feature a wide breadth of affordable art and fine crafts created by local artists and artisans - making shopping for even the pickiest person you know a breeze.
Shoppers will find eye-catching photography from Nina Bataller, Denis Wolf, and Caitlin Baringer, stunning ceramics from Steven Jones, Aileen Florell, Chris Fanjul, and Sigrid Owen, impressive wood-craft from Brian and Aynsley Schopfer of Grain Surfboards
, exceptional fiber arts from Tracy Jamar and Justine Moody, beautiful knits from 1000 Peaks & Petals, Betsy Peerless, Luluknits, and Yu-Lu Bouvier, luxe soaps and skin products from Utopia Bath and Merilyn Kenneth, essential oils from Sea Gypsy Botanicals and Roey Ficaro, wonderful watercolor cards and papers from Kay Gibson, magnificent jewelry from Jamie Lerner and Sylvia Wittzenmann, and homey sachets, pillows, linens from Dee Moore.
Ceramics by Aileen Florell.
"The work by local artisans is exceptional, and I still walk away with more than I intended to buy!" Lombardini said.
For many, this is the
place to be. "It's one stop holiday shopping!" explained Loring Bolger. "The Friends Bazaar has items you won't see anywhere else with prices to fit every budget."
The Friends Bazaar offers a chance to purchase outstanding goods from local vendors whose products you may only be able to find during similar pop-up happenings. "These events remind us how talented our neighbors are," concluded Lombardini.
"I look forward to it every year," added Bolger.
Admission to the 7th Annual Friends Bazaar is free.
