When the East End Arts' Annual Holiday Gift Boutique debuts on Saturday, November 10, it may seem a bit premature to start thinking about seasonal presents, but in reality there's actually just seven weekends before Christmas.

The East End Arts Gallery (133 East Main Street, Riverhead) will once again be transformed into a magical seasonal shopping experience for the holidays - where one-of-a-kind and unique handmade items will be displayed and available for purchase. Products will range from heirloom handmade ornaments to one-of-a-kind jewelry and wearables to exceptional knits to spectacular woodwork to beautiful crafts, and so much more, all of which were created by East End Arts' brilliant member-artists.

"We're looking forward, as always to welcome our talented members' handmade crafts and works of art, ranging from jewelry, wood and sculptural pieces, knitwear, fused glass ornaments, stationary, prints, pottery and more," the EEA staff reflected.

Holiday Gift Boutique artisans will include Patricia Burns, Liliana Castillo, Diana Conklin, David Daly, Giampaolo Fallai, Frankie Fioretti, Sharon Gajajiva, Ani Ghosh, Anthony Graziano, Jeff Hollmay, Melissa Hyatt, Anna Jurinich, Florence and Joel Karnavogel, Irene Katz, Stella Krasinski, Teresa Lawler, Jeanette Loper, Lori Loper, Felicia Manfort, Jeanna Mars, Barbara Marsh, Vincent Nardozza, Kristine Nemeth, Gail Neuman, Denisse Olaya, Ralph Palamidessi, Yan Gabrielle Peropat, Beth Pile, Michael Remski, Barbara Ringwald, Donna Schick, Kelly Schulte-Smith, Neva Setlow, David Starwood, and Melina Vratny.

The Grand Opening celebration will be held on Saturday, November 10, from 12 to 6 p.m. The Boutique will be open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 12 to 5 p.m. through Saturday, December 22.

In addition to the Holiday Gift Boutique Grand Opening, East End Arts will host an instrument petting zoo led by musicians from Stony Brook at the East End Arts School (141 East Main Street, Riverhead) on November 10. From 1 to 2 p.m., children up to 5-years-old are invited to test out a plethora of instruments to see if they connect with one in particular. Admission is free.

Later on in the month, East End Arts will introduce its newest satellite gallery, Peconic Crossing (11 West Main Street, Riverhead). The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, November 19, and the Peconic Crossing Gallery's inaugural exhibition will showcase the work of longtime established painter, Gina Gilmour, who is attending the opening.

"Since early childhood, art making has been for me a means of processing my experience; a way to celebrate and to mourn, to rail against the intolerable, and to navigate the mysterious," Gilmour reflected.

The Gallery will be open by appointment only.
