It might have been a hot and humid night in the Hamptons, but one of the coolest events of the summer took place at the beautiful home of George and Joan Hornig
on Friday evening. Philanthropist, jewelry designer, and FIT Trustee Joan Hornig hosted a dinner in the Hornig's Art Barn in Water Mill, to celebrate the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
The fabulous dinner followed a talk at the Parrish Art Museum

greeted the guests and then Dr. Joyce F. Brown, President of FIT, spoke about the various opportunities at FIT. Featured around the Art Barn was works by students in toy design, jewelry design, shoe and accessories design, and interior design for guests to enjoy.
