Richard Gere, Alan Cumming And Stevie Nicks At HIFF Conversation With Series

This years Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) conversation with series will feature Richard Gere, Alan Cumming and Stevie Nicks.

Richard Gere will receive the Golden Starfish Award for Lifetime Achievement in Acting during the HIFF "Conversation with Series". The presentation will feature a montage highlighting Gere's career, cover Gere's life and career and be moderated by HIFF Honorary Chairman Alec Baldwin. A conversation with Richard Gere will take place on October 6th, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

Alan Cumming will take part in the conversation with series on October 6, 2012, at Bay Street Theater beginning at 2 p.m. In the film "Any Day Now", which is based on true events, Cumming stars as Rudy an aspiring singer and part-time drag queen in 1970s Los Angeles. "Any Day Now" will screen at 1:15 p.m. at the UA East Hampton Theater 1 on October 7, 2012 and at 11 a.m. at the UA East Hampton Theater 4 on October 8, 2012. He will also be hosting the Golden Starfish Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at Guild Hall.

Stevie Nicks will take part in the conversation with series on October 7, 2012, at Bay Street Theater at noon. Following the film "In Your Dreams" a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Nicks' and rock legend Dave Stewart 2011 album will screen at the Sag Harbor Cinemas beginning at 3 p.m.
