Rhett Miller And Band To Headline Southampton SeptemberFest

This year SeptemberFest will kick-off with a party Friday, September 28th under the tent in Agawam Park. The party will feature music from New Life Crisis and local wine, craft beer and tidbits provided by gourmet food trucks. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $35 at the door.

The second annual Southampton SeptemberFest hosted by Southampton Village will take place on September 29, 2012, and bring together the best the Hamptons have to offer including music, food, wine, art, history and more. SeptemberFest will take place at various locations in Southampton Village including the Southampton Historic Museum, the Southampton Cultural Center and Agawam Park.

Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. with the Harvest Day Fair at the Southampton Historic Museum providing fun historical activities, a Farmers' Market featuring vendors offering local products at 25 Jobs Lane and a Juried Art Show at the Southampton Cultural Center.

Highlights of SeptemberFest include Wells Fargo stagecoach rides, Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, street music from various musicians, a clam chowder contest, and local food, wine and craft beer from Hamptons top caterers, restaurants, vineyards and brewers at taste of Southampton in Agawam Park.

Also in Agawam Park, the "Concert in the Park" will offer a full day of live music with a variety of genres and local performers as well as from across the globe. This year's performers include Project Vibe, Montauk Project, Goldspot, Miles to Dayton and Rhett Miller & The Serial Lady Killers.
