The American Culinary Federation's Eastern Long Island Chefs Chapter and Slow Food East End are hosting the first annual
S.E.E.D. (Sustainable East End Development) fundraiser on Sunday, September 28, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the
Westhampton Beach Country Club. The event will bring together foodies, chefs, breweries, vineyards, farmers, and fisherman for an extraordinary evening of food, drink and celebration. Proceeds will benefit Slow Food's Edible Garden Project and ACF's Chefs Move to School, both of which support the farm-to-table movement using gardens created at East End schools.
PBS Lifestyle Personality and Chef,
George Hirsch, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Nearly 20 restaurants/chefs are taking part in the event, including

Participating farmers include William Lee of Sang Lee Farms, Jane Maguire of Long Island Mushroom, Steph Gaylor of Invincible Summer Farms, Philip Mastrangelo of Race Rock Oyster, Maryann Krupski of Margene Farms, and Holly Browder of Browder's Birds.
Tickets are $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP admission.
