The walls are up and the carpet is down. The lights are almost there and the art is on the way from just about everywhere but Antarctica.
is gearing up to offer new art pieces at the annual international art fair from July 11th through 14th all over the East End. This year's festival will have 77 galleries, book signings, and sculptures up for grabs.
According to its website, "ArtHamptons has come to be known as a celebration of the Hamptons art community as we pay homage to the region's century long tradition as a mecca for the creation and patronage of art."
"We are concentrating on showcasing galleries that are exhibiting Hamptons Bohemia and we also have a cutting edge exhibit called Bushwick Bohemia," said Ann Chwatsky
of Hamptons Expo Group in Southampton. "Each end of the island is important to view." She also mentioned that guests will walk through Larry River's "LEGS" exhibit to get to into the fair.
In addition, the tents are being set up in more of a square shape, something that Chwatsky makes the layout even more gorgeous.
The international fine art fair is now in its sixth year and tends to attract around 11,000 attendees for the four-day festival.
"It is always better each year," Chwatsky said.
