Life@Nite: Celebrity Chefs, Designers and Artists Enjoy The Hamptons

Southampton - Foodies were in heaven at the 2012 Chefs Dinner which was attended by many celebrity chefs as well as local favorites while fashionistas had the opportunity to mingle with Warby Parker co-founder and co-CEO Neil Blumenthal, and Parke Lutter of the designer duo of Parke & Ronen.

On Saturday guests were treated to a four-course meal at the 2012 Chefs Dinner benefit for Hayground School's Jeff's Kitchen and the Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund. The meal was prepared by a select few of the participating chefs and paired with wines chosen by Aldo Sohm world-class Chef Sommelier of Le Bernardin. The event was attended by Le Bernardin's Eric Ripert, Lure Fish Bar's Josh Capon, Amanda Freitag of Food Network show "Chopped", designer Issac Mizrahi among others. Ina Garten who also attended the benefit treated guests to dessert from her upcoming book Foolproof.

Also on Saturday, Maison 24 celebrated the summer openings of the Warby Parker and Parke & Ronen shop-in-shops at thier Bridgehampton store. The event also celebrated seven new, exclusive limited edition works by Dirk Westphal, and an inspired design book by David Scott. Guests viewed work from Westphal and while mingling with Maison 24 co-owners Allison Julius and Louis Marra, Warby Parker co-founder and co-CEO Neil Blumenthal, Parke Lutter of the designer duo of Parke & Ronen and author and interior designer David Scott.

The New York Young Professionals Committee hosted a "Behind the Hedges" cocktail party at the Southampton Social Club on Saturday. Guests listened to the beats of DJ Cameron Smalls while sipping on specialty cocktails, dining on hors d'oeuvres, and bidding on festive auction items including tickets to "Live with Kelly", gift certificates to DryBar, World Cup Sailing Experience, and tennis lessons in the City.

On Sunday the Hamptons Players Club hosted a Summer Soiree with Fairway Market to benefit Yorkville Common Pantry. Guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks in the beer garden followed by a master class where guests learned about wine and cheese from Fairway Market experts and then enjoyed a three course dinner featuring Agromonte/Aromatica Italian foods.


On Wednesday, New Orleans Pop band Whodat Loungers will play at Agawam Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Southampton Cultural Center's 2012 Concerts in the Park Series.

Sole East is hosting Escape to Montauk this weekend. The three day affair will begin on Friday at 6 p.m. and continues on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and concludes with a brunch on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This years highlights include acoustical music, art exhibits, yoga activities, kids activities, a speakers corner, outdoor film and a fashion village with pop-up shops. Ladies flaunt your most extravagant hats and gentlemen, grab a straw boater while escorting your lady to the Roots and Wings Ultimate Garden Party on Saturday. Held at the beautiful garden at the Hamptons Players Club from 5 to 8 p.m., funds raised will benefit the Roots and Wings Foundation.

Legendary Rev Run and DJ Ruckus will bring their exclusive DJ duo act to SL East this Saturday, for a one-night only special performance.

Queen and U2 fans in the Hamptons get ready for cover bands Almost Queen and Unforgettable Fire (UF) at the Canal Room Southampton on Saturday night.

On Sunday, catch a live performance from Earthtones at the pavilion of Bedell Cellars from 1 to 5 p.m.

Also on Sunday head to CowFish where photographer Mark Chester will issigning copies of "Twosomes", companion book to the current touring exhibit and winner of the PDN 2012 Photo Annual from 12 to 6 p.m.

Corey Creek will have live music Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy Home Groan on Saturday while sitting on the deck overlooking the Vineyard from 1 to 5 p.m. On Monday enjoy Moonlight Monday's at Corey Creek which features a performance from Bryce Larsen while Twilight Tuesday's feautures a performance Andrew Buccarelli, both are from 5 to 9 p.m.
