Celebrate Easter In The Hamptons With A Hopping Cocktail

While the kids are enjoying the candy from the Easter bunny or enjoying an Easter egg hunt, whip up one of these tasty treats to celebrate Easter while in the Hamptons.

1. The Easter Egg: An easy delicious dessert option, leave out the creme de menthe for a kid friendly treat.

 • Creme de Menthe
 • Polar Vanilla Seltzer
 • Ice Cream

Directions: Add a generous amount of the green liqueur to the bottom of a goblet. Add in ice cream and then slowly top with Polar Seltzer to create the yummy fame.

2. Silver Tulip: If you are in Southampton stop by little|red (www.littleredsouthampton.com) to try this refreshing cocktail.

 • 1 Part Nolets Gin
 • 1 Part St. Germain
 • 1 Part Fresh Grapefruit
 • 1 Part Fresh Lime Juice

Directions: Combine ingredients in shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into martini glass.

3. Blooming Honeydew Spritzer: Spring is the perfect time to start sipping on this simply sweet spritzer.

 • 2 Parts Pucker Sour Apple Sass Vodka
 • 5 Chunks of Honeydew Melon
 • 1 Part Lemon Juice
 • 1 Part Agave Nectar
 • Prosecco

Directions: Add honeydew melon to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add vodka, lemon juice and agave nectar to the cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, double strain over ice and pour into chilled wine glass. Top with Prosecco.

4. Kappa Blue Star: Incorporating egg whites into your cocktails is a big spring trend. This is an easy cocktail to whip up for those trying their hand at mixing with egg whites for the first time and impress your guests.

 • 2 oz. Kappa Pisco
 • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
 • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
 • 1 Egg White
 • 10 Blueberries

Directions: In a shaker, muddle blueberries with simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice, add Kappa Pisco and remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously and strain into a small champagne or martini glass.

5. The Akvinta Berry Bunny: Get your share of super foods while sipping on this blissfully berry-filled drink.

 • 4 fresh Strawberries
 • 6 fresh Raspberries
 • 2 fresh Blackberries
 • 4 tbsp. Vanilla Yogurt
 • 3 oz. Apple Juice
 • 3/4 oz. Akvinta Vodka
 • 2/3 oz. Honey
 • 2 tbsp. Oat Flakes
 • 3 Ice Cubes

Directions: Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for 45 seconds Pour into a large hi-ball glass and garnish with an apple fan and berry kebab.

6. Lucky Rabbits Foot: A great drink to sip on while enjoying desserts.

 • 2 oz. Fonseca BIN 27 Port
 • 1 oz. Brandy
 • .5 oz. Orange Juice
 • .25 oz. Grenadine

Directions: Shake over ice and strain into glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.

7. Eggstra Fancy: Another deliciously divine easy egg white containing cocktail to try.

 • 2 oz. Rhuby Rhubarb Liqueur
 • 2 oz. Coconut Rum
 • .5 oz. Aperol
 • 4 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters
 • 1 Egg White

Directions: Add all ingredients to shaker, wet shake then fine strain and finish with a hard dry shake. Pour gently into chilled coupe or tumbler and garnish with a fresh cherries.

8. Cuarenta y Crema: The perfect pick-me-up before helping with the dishes.

 • 1 oz. Licor 43
 • 1 oz. Anejo Tequila
 • .5 oz. Coffee Liquor
 • 1 oz. Espresso
 • 1 oz. Half and Half

Directions: Shake lightly and strain into a lowball glass over ice. Garnish with filberts and a pirouette cookie.

9. Cruzan Sunday Bloody Funday: Starting Easter by sipping on this classic cocktail.

 • 2 Parts Cruzan Aged Light
 • ½ Parts Orange Juice
 • Tomato Juice
 • ½ Lime cut into wedges
 • 2 Roasted Garlic Cloves
 • sprig Thyme cut into halves
 • sprig Rosemary cut into halves
 • ¼ diced Jalapeño Pepper
 • 2 Jalapeño Slices
 • Pinch of Sea Salt
 • Garnish: 1 stalk Celery, 1 roasted Garlic Clove, ½ Rosemary Sprig, ½ Thyme Sprig, 2 Jalapeño Slices

Directions: Combine lime wedges, roasted garlic, ½ sprig thyme, ½ sprig rosemary, diced jalapeño & Sea Salt in a pint glass and lightly muddle. Add Cruzan Aged Light, orange juice over ice and top with tomato juice. Roll with another glass to mix. Top with ice and add garnishes on a skewer.
