Super Bowl XLVII is a battle between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisania. With Beyoncé headlining and Destiny's Child making an appearance, the Half Time show is bound to rock. The Harbaugh brothers will be the first brother duo to face off as head coaches in Super Bowl history.
Can't make it to the Big Easy to see the game at the Superdome? Here are a few spots to catch the game if you are in the Hamptons.
In Amagansett, stop by Indian Wells Tavern (177 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-0400, www.indianwellstavern.com) for a $5 bar menu and $4 pints in the bar room. Make sure you try the Tavern Wings, buffalo, barbeque or chef's special honey spiced jumbo chicken wings served with bleu cheese and vegetable sticks
Stop by Townline BBQ (3593 Townline Road, Sagaponack,631-537-2271, www.townlinebbq.com) for several Super Bowl Sunday food and beer specials, like the Pigskin Sunday Special for $16 which includes a half pound of pig, potato bread and BBQ sauce or tortillas and avocado salsa with a choice of two sides. They also have bring home party combos.
With it's nine TV's you won't miss a play at the Southampton Publick House (40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 631-283-2800, www.publick.com). They are offering $5 pints, $5 burger platters and $5 wing platters starting at 5 p.m. for the big game.
