Starting at 4:30 p.m., the Historical & Preservation Society will host a delicious three-course meal at Villa Paul in Hampton Bays, with seatings offered throughout the evening. Fundraiser-goers will have a few tasty options for their starter, entree, and dessert. The benefit will conclude at 9 p.m.

"Proceeds from this event helps us to present our Summer Lecture Series," Rosemarie King, Hampton Bays Historical & Preservation Society Secretary, shared. "The third Thursday of the month we provide educational and enriching opportunities for the community to join us and learn about past and present life on the East End."
The Summer Lecture Series will launch in May and continue through September. "So far in 2020, two of our speakers will be author of Dark Moon, Tom Clavin
, and naturalist, Chris Paparo aka 'The Fish Guy,'" King noted.
The Historical & Preservation Society was founded in 1994 to "preserve, document, and educate the local community on local history." It does so by maintaining a compilation of family records, genealogies, oral histories and other fascinating artifacts. It also oversees many historic properties, including the Prosper King House, the Lyzon Hat Museum, the Canoe Place Chapel and three Southampton Town-owned cemeteries.
Villa Paul is located at 162 West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. For tickets, visit www.hamptonbayshistoricalsociety.org.
