Brew Crew Cycles, a Riverhead-based 14-person pedal tour company, is marking its 5th anniversary by hosting special programming on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19.

"We are so grateful to be celebrating out 5th year in business and we love the wonderful Riverhead community and all of our wonderful riders that have enjoyed a day (or many) with us," Vicki Clacherty, co-founder of Brew Crew Cycles, relayed.

The Anniversary Party Tours will entail a 2.5 hour, 3-stop journey, along with bites from Maple Tree BBQ and Mattitaco and festivities at Brew Crew Cycles's location on Marcy Avenue in Riverhead.

"Laughter is what we love to hear when our bikes are cruising around town," Rebecca Donlan, co-founder and treasurer of Brew Crew Cycles, shared. "Throwing this 5 year anniversary party is our way of thanking Riverhead for supporting us these past few years and giving our customers just a little more to smile and laugh about. "

And, Brew Crew Cycles isn't the only ones paying homage to the milestone birthday. Long Ireland Beer Company, Moustache Brewing Co., and North Fork Brewing Co. have joined forces to create the first ever Riverhead breweries collaboration beer in honor of the anniversary. The session IPA, which was brewed at North Fork Brewing Company, can be founded at each of the participaitng breweries starting on Saturday, May 18.

"We are looking forward to celebrating on the 18th and 19th with a Riverhead breweries collaboration beer cheers!" Clacherty added.

Brew Crew Cycles is the sole beer tour of its kind on Long Island. Peddlers have the chance to check out local Riverhead breweries and/or pubs and experience their unique craft beers.

Anniversary Party Tours are $50 per person or $600 to reserve the entire bike (8 to 14 people).
