The luck of the Irish is heading to the East End when the Town of Riverhead celebrates everyone's favorite mischievous tiny man dressed in all green. Normally you can't trust the tricksters known as Leprechauns, but we promise, you won't be deceived during this East End benefit.
On Saturday, March 7th, the East End town is holding their inaugural March of the Leprechauns, a charitable St. Paddy's Day-themed pub crawl. The benefit kicks off at 1 p.m.
To participate, attendees must purchase a $10 pub crawl bracelet, which supports two local organizations and come donning all green. Participating restaurants and breweries include The
Suffolk Theater (118 East Main Street, Riverhead),
Hotel Indigo (1830 West Main Street, Riverhead), Long Ireland Brewing (817 Pulaski Street, Riverhead), Crooked Ladder Brewing (70 West Main Street, Riverhead), Digger O'Dell's (58 West Main Street, Riverhead), Joe's Garage & Grill (40 Peconic Avenue, Riverhead),
Tweeds Restaurant &
Buffalo Bar (17 East Main Street, Riverhead), Vines & Hops (127 East Main Street, Riverhead), Cliff's Rendezvous (313 East Main Street, Riverhead), Uncle Joe's Pizzeria Café (12 West Main Street, Riverhead), and Riverhead Diner & Grill (87 East Main Street, Riverhead).
Half the proceeds from March of the Leprechauns will benefit the
East End Emerald Society in support of the Jamesport St. Patrick's Day Parade and the other half will benefit
Maureen's Haven Homeless Outreach Program.
