Andrew Zimmern, Michael Symon, Jacques Pepin, And Daniel Humm Featured In Hamptons "Stirring The Pot" Series

Instead of heading to brunch on Sundays this August, stop by Guild Hall in East Hampton where foodies will have the chance to interact with and learn from their favorite chefs as part of the highly anticipated Stirring the Pot series.

This year's featured chefs are Jacques Pepin (August 6), Andrew Zimmern (August 13), Michael Symon (August 20) and Daniel Humm (August 27). New York Times and Food & Wine writer Florence Fabricant will moderate the series.

"This series never ceases to amaze us! Florence always features the hottest culinary celebrities and this year's chefs are no exception," shared Barbara-Jo Howard, Director of Marketing & Communications at Guild Hall. "Get your tickets early as these mornings to sell out."

Pépin, who began his culinary career as a child in his parents' restaurant, Le Pelican, has hosted several popular cooking programs on PBS, a highly accomplished author, respected instructor, and gifted chef. He founded The American Institute of Wine and Food, is a member of the International Association of Cooking Professionals, and is on the board of trustees of James Beard Foundation. The former The New York Times columnist shared the spotlight with Julia Child in Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home, and currently writes a quarterly column for Food & Wine.

Zimmern, an American television personality, chef, food writer and teacher, co-created and serves as host and consulting producer of the Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods America and Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre World, which earned him the James Beard Foundation Award in 2010 and in 2013. Additionally, he hosts the show Dining with Death, which covers foods that could result in an untimely demise.

Chef Michael Symon, who earned the title of Best New Chef from Food & Wine magazine in 1998, owns several restaurants, including Lola, Mabel's BBQ, Roast, Bar Symon and B Spot Burgers. He's a Food Network regular, appearing on Iron Chef and many other shows, and also serves as a co-host on ABC's The Chew.

Daniel Humm is the chef and co-owner of Eleven Madison Park, which earned the top spot on The World's 50 Best Restaurants this year, and The NoMad in New York City. His dishes revolve around locally sourced ingredients that focus on simplicity, purity, and seasonal flavors. Eleven Madison Park is currently undergoing major renovations, so Humm and his partner Will Guidara decided to open a Hamptons outpost, EMP Summer House, this summer, which has turned into one of the hottest restaurants out east. Humm and Eleven Madison Park have earned four stars from The New York Times, six James Beard Foundation Awards, and three stars from the Michelin Guide, while The NoMad was awarded three stars from The New York Times, one Michelin Star, and a James Beard Foundation Award.

Stirring the Pot begins at 11 a.m. Admission is $18 for Guild Hall members and $20 for nonmembers.
