Celebrating mom with an intimate at home Mother's Day gathering? Raise a glass to all she does with one of these tasty libations.
Pomegranate Citrus Avaline Rosé Spritz:
• 1 cup Pomegranate Juice (if not pressing fresh, look for one with low sugar)
• 1-2 Grapefruits, thinly sliced
• 1-2 Blood Oranges, thinly sliced
• 1 c. Kumquats, sliced in half (optional)
• 1 bottle of Avaline Rosé
• Sparkling Water (to taste)
Combine pomegranate juice, grapefruit, blood oranges, kumquat slices, and Avaline Rosé in a large pitcher. When ready to serve, top with sparkling water (to taste), a slice of grapefruit, and a couple kumquat halves.
Volley Cucumber Skinny Margarita:
• 1 can of Zesty Lime Volley Tequila Seltzer
• .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
• Sliced Limes
• Sliced Cucumber
• Pinch of Kosher salt
In a tin, muddle 5 slices of cucumber, two lime wedges, and a .5 oz. of lime juice. Add one can of Zesty lime Volley Tequila seltzer and a pinch of salt. Tumble with ice and pour into your favorite margarita glass. Salt the rim in advance (optional). Enjoy!
Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass Fizz:
• 1.5 oz. Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass
• 4.5 oz. Soda Water
• Fresh Strawberries
• Lemon Twist
Fill a chilled glass with cubed ice and add Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass. Top with soda. Then simply garnish with lemongrass, fresh strawberry, and a lemon twist.
Fleur de Cerisier: (Created by Mixologist Jacob Sunny, Bastille Brasserie & Bar)
• 1.5 oz. Roku Gin
• .5 oz. Luxardo
• .75 oz. Lemon Juice
• 1 oz. Tussock Jumper Pinot Noir
• 3 Dashes Fee Brothers Cherry Blossom Bitters
• Sancho Pepper Foam*
• Cherry Blossom Flower
Shake everything except the foam and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Finish with Sancho pepper foam. Garnish with cherry blossom flower.
*Sancho Pepper Foam
• 2 tsp of Pepper, grinded with a mortar
• 1 oz. Lemon Juice
• 2 oz. of Hot Water
• 1 Egg White
Directions: Mix pepper, lemon and hot water. Once it's cooled, whisk it with egg white. Add everything into a whipper, and charge it with two n20 cartridges. Keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
Belvedere Super Cocktail - Kombucha:
• 1.5 oz. Belvedere Vodka
• 5 oz. Honey
• .75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
• 2 oz. Kombucha
• 1 dash Angostura Bitters
• Lime Wheel
Place all ingredients in a shaker except Kombucha and shake with ice. Strain into a Coupe and top of with ice cold Kombucha. Garnish with a lime wheel.
