As if spring and the impending summer season wasn't enough to brighten March, the month's final day will also bring the beginning of East End Restaurant Week©.

The third annual campaign, presented by Long Island Restaurant & Marketing Hospitality Group (LIRHG) - the new business-to-consumer promotions division of WordHampton Public Relations, will run from Sunday, March 31 through Sunday, April 7.

"Diners look forward to East End Restaurant Week all year-round, " LIRHG President Steve Haweeli reflected. "It's a great opportunity to try top notch East End restaurants, without breaking the bank."

In the Hamptons, participating restaurants include 1 North Steakhouse, Centro Trattoria & Bar, Cowfish, and Rumba in Hampton Bays; Claude's Restaurant and Shippys Pumpernickels Restaurant East in Southampton; Bistro Ete in Water Mill; Bobby Van's Steakhouse in Bridgehampton; Baron's Cove, Cappelletti Restaurant, Lulu Kitchen & Bar, Page at 63 Main, The Bell & Anchor, and Wolffer Kitchen Sag Harbor in Sag Harbor; Cove Hollow Tavern, Fresno, Nick & Toni's Restaurant, and The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn in East Hampton; Wolffer Kitchen Amagansett in Amagansett; and 668 The Gig Shack in Montauk.

"The Wölffer Kitchens are excited to be participating once again in East End Restaurant Week," Nicolette Diodati, Wölffer Estate Vineyard Associate Marketing Manager, shared. "It's a great time to bring the community together and share the bounty of the East End and all our local wines with them. We love seeing a familiar face when they bring back friends or family during the summer season!"

Other featured eateries are Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue; Trumpets On The Bay in Eastport; La Plage in Wading River; Bistro 72, Farm Country Kitchen, and The Preston House & Hotel in Riverhead; Jamesport Manor Inn in Jamesport; A Lure Chowder House & Oysteria and The North Fork Table and Inn in Southold; and noah's in Greenport.

"Baron's Cove is happy to again participate in this East End culinary tradition," Baron's Cove executive chef Jay Lippin relayed. "It gives guests and diners an opportunity to rediscover the restaurant and enjoy some of our favorite menu items like our Beach Plum Farm pork shank with Anson Mill's polenta in a red wine sauce and our pan-roasted Long Island porgy filet with brocolinni and charred tomato vinaigrette. We work closely with local growers, fisherman, farmers, and purveyors and are proud to showcase these beautiful ingredients in our dishes."

As per usual, participating restaurants will offer an extraordinary three-course prix fixe menu for just $29.95. The special will be available every night the eateries are open, with the exception of Saturday when the menu may only be offered until 7 p.m. At least three options per course will be available.

"Restaurant Week is always a very busy week at The 1770 House," The 1770 House General Manager Carol Covell explained. "We see new customers who welcome the occasion to try our delicious food and friendly service. We see loyal guests who welcome another reason to return and make it a night out with friends."

The East End Restaurant Week© also offers a lodging component. If you're looking for a "staycation," The 1708 House in Southampton is offering a 10-percent discount off stays during the promotion.

"We hope to attract diners from all over Long Island and even in New York City with the lodging component as well," Haweeli added.
